Majd Chourbaj
Founder & General Manager
A Syrian peace activist and a winner of the U.S. State Department's International Women of Courage Award in 2015. A previous detainee in Assad' regime prisons. Owner and CEO of Glory Investment Group.
Mohamad Ziada
Former CoFounder & Proposal Specialist
A former detainee in Assad's regime prisons. He is a communication specialist, founder of Bintelligence Group for digital transformation services, and a member of Enab Baladi Newspaper committee.
Ahmad Kanbar
Media Department Manager
A media activist accredited on strategic planning for media content for Al-Jazeera Media Center. Founder of Kuzluk Agency for media services. Ahmad has documented the org activities from day one.
Rabeaa Al-Qadri
Psychology Support Specialist
She was one of the founders of Basamat in 2014, a key pillar of the organization, and its bright face that greets you when you visit, filling you with optimism and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
Najwa Ziada
Office Manager
Najwa was one of the first women to join the our team and is regarded as our spiritual mother. As a mother and sister to martyrs, she inspired other women to resist and keep the revolution alive.
Zohur Beqaai
Literacy Instructor
A civil society activist and literacy instructor, she was one of the few brave leaders to participate in the female demonstration against Assad's regime in Darraya, Damascus.
Mahmoud Al-Masri
Financial Manager & Reearcher
Mahmoud holds a master's degree in Public Administration and Political Science. His research interests focus on Turkey's foreign policy toward Syria.
Obaidah Sheikh Deib
School Manager - Idlib
An educational consultant and school manager in Saraqeb, Idlib, ensured the safety of besieged children while they attended classes, playing a key role in maintaining education amid adversity.
Hussam Ahmad Fares
Office Manager - Homs
Hussam is a lawyer and international law trainer, known for his practical management skills and ability to deliver exceptional results with limited resources. He joined our team in 2014.
Ahed Alhag
Office Manager - Idlib City
Ahed is a leading female activist in Idlib, inspiring women with her resilience and leadership during the regime's siege from 2014 to 2023.
Rania Hajqasem
Office Manager - Saraqep City
Rania joined our team in 2015 and played a pivotal role in strengthening the female-led movement during the Syrian revolution in Saraqeb.
